General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading for Sunday May 13th

crow tarot reading

Good morning!

It can be hard to focus on anything other than what is directly causing our discomfort at the moment. Whether it is a nasty stinging paper cut or an argument with a friend that created a crack in the relationship - it is all we seem to focus our attention on, despite all the other things going on in life. But eventually that thing - the experience that once demanded our undivided attention will ease and become just another moment in the past. What we gain or lost during this time, however, is up to us.

The crow of the Four of Swords rests - it is a well-deserved break from the challenges of life. It is during this time that healing can begin and strength is developed - for there will be more obstacles in the future.

With the Four of Swords in the past position, this denotes a time of healing and becoming more self-aware. It may have been a series of difficulties that had you questioning life choices or habits - or your career. At some point in the past, you decided to step out of the mix for a little bit and allow for some self-care to take place. It will be the strength you developed during this time that will help you during this current period of time.

The crow stands on the riverbank - unable to focus on anything other than the cups that have spilled. If it looked up it would see a path to a new destination - if it turned around it would see that all is not lost.

At the heart of the matter is a feeling of despair due to some sort of loss or separation. It may have been an argument with a friend or boss that has you stewing. Or you may be in a situation of transition and you are unable to fully move forward because you still have one foot fully planted in the past.

Having the Five of Cups in the present position indicates an inability to focus on anything other than your immediate discomfort and because of this, you can't see the opportunity to release yourself from this pain that is right in front you.

This card comes with a warning one that thanks to the energy of strength created during the time of the Four of Swords you should be able to confront - acknowledge what it is that you have lost but don't let it consume you as there are pathways out of this feeling of despair, you only have to take notice.

Heeding the warning will result in a better situation to manifest.

The crows work together to create and execute a plan - one that in the end will provide them with an abundance of food. (What every crow wants most :-)

The Three of Pentacles in the future position denotes a significant change that is brought on by working with someone who will teach you a new skill and it will be this new skill that will enable you to make a major change in your life for the better. Whether it is moving into a new career, or learning how to better communicate with your partner - it will be from the knowledge you gain during this time that will have a significant impact on your life. It will be this time of learning and growing that you will look back on from a place of success as a pivotal moment in your life.

The important message this spread is sending is don't let this opportunity pass you by because of focusing only on what you can't change. Direct your attention to what you can.

"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." ~Chris McCandless

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful ladies out there who make a life better every day whether it be human or otherwise :-)
