General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Friday May 25th

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

It's Memorial Day Weekend here in the US and perhaps between barbeques - the perfect time to spend contemplating your next step. 

The crow of the Five of Cups seems to be popping up a bit these days. He just can't let go of the past and spends his time pining over what was lost instead of focusing on the full cups that are right there - behind him. If he would simply turn around he would see there is more to life than what was in those three cups - and no amount of regret or sadness is going to reverse time and un-spill them. 

In the past position, the Five of Cups suggests that your unwillingness to let go of something that is no longer yours is the reason for any feelings of stagnation or difficulty moving forward today. Whether it was a difficult break-up or losing your dream job, or childhood that was less than perfect,  This event in the past played a significant role in who you are today - the message the Five of Cups - if you haven't already started the process - it is time to begin healing. 

The crow sits comfortably in the nest she created at the top of a tree. It took time and effort to create such a lovely place to rest. Although challenging, the investment of time and resources were worth it and because of her ability to plan for the future, her mind is now at ease knowing that her fledglings have a safe and secure place to grow. 

At the heart of the matter is the Seven of Pentacles and a plateau. You have built a stable environment and are in a place of relative comfort. However is this where you want to stay when there is more you can accomplish? The message the Seven of Pentacles is sending today is to take the time to really evaluate what it is you want in life. Are you happy? What would you like to see come into your life? This is an important time as you are at a crossroads, your hard work got you to this place and now it is time to get clear on which path will lead you to in the best direction.

The crows of the Three of Pentacles work together to harvest the fruit so that they both can eat. 

In the future position, the Three of Pentacles indicates if you chose to pursue gaining knowledge or learning a new skill, you will find supportive energy around this new endeavor and as a result, a great deal of success will come from this time of expanding your mind.  

While you are at the crossroads, this may be a good time to examine if there are any feelings or beliefs tied to the energy of the Five of Cups that may hold back or hinder your progress - or cloud your vision of the future. Having the supportive Three of Pentacles in the future position - this indicates that by seeking out the help of another you will be able to work through any issues that may still be lingering from the past as you gain a sense of confidence and an inner-strength that comes from a new skill.
