Good Morning!
If life is feeling a bit stagnant these days it may due to your inability to commit or make a final decision - there may too many options clouding your judgment or a fear that is holding you back. When you eventually make your decision - the outcome will prove less important than getting over this hurdle as it will lead you down a path to a brighter future.
The five crows fly through the air in play - jousting and showing off their skills. There is a bit of competitiveness within the group, however, the only bruising will be to an ego or two as this show of combat is all in good fun.
The Five of Wands indicates that your current situation is the result of playing around - or experimenting with many different ideas. This may have been a period of taking several different classes or hopping from job to job because you couldn't find the "one" perfect fit.
There is something to be said for all the experiences you obtained in the past as you now possess a wide variety of skills and as a result, you have the advantage of recognizing the opportunities worth pursuing and those that will eventually bore you.
The Five of Wands may also point to being a jack of all trades and a master of none however and because of this, you may find yourself in a difficult position at the present time as you are not comfortable with your skills enough to take on a bigger project or career move.
The crow finds itself blindfolded and stuck between two swords. In its mind - the blades are sharper, the danger is broader, and the darkness is permanent. Out of fear of making a wrong move and being sliced by the massive sword it envisions - believing death is all but certain the little crow stays put unable to see that with a little clever maneuvering it would come out completely unscathed.
With the Two of Swords at the center of today's reading, there is an energy surfacing that has the power to block your vision - preventing you from seeing your situation from a place of clarity. The fear of the unknown this energy unleashes is powerful and conflicts with your confidence causing friction in your day to day life - impacting your ability to make a firm decision.
You may find yourself putting off tasks or committing to a change because you are focused on going over every detail of each scenario in your head to the point of ad nauseam and because of this, your mind is cluttered by all the possibilities - most of which are fear-based and play with your ability to rationalize or envision a more accurate outcome.
This reminds me of the Clash song "Should I stay or should I go?"
"Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go, there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know..."
When you make a decision, it may not be the perfect one - or it may be that doesn't matter - what does matter is any decision at this point will move you out of a place of stagnation so that you move forward and with that - the energy of frustration will fade.
The crow stands proudly drawing on the horse's strong confident energy. The sun rises and basks the creatures in a warm glow as it lights the sky and creates a feeling of comfort.
Sitting off to the side, ready to shine its big bright beautiful light upon you is the Sun. If you need a boost of confidence to combat the fear brought on by the Two of Swords it is here and ready for you to accept it with open arms.
With the Sun supporting your decision you will find that the path for the best possible outcome will be defined and well-lit as signs will point you in the right direction. Although your current situation may have you wrapped in a dark heavy energy the time for positivity and feeling a peace with your place in the world is on the horizon and with this energy supporting you the feeling of being connected to something greater will cause any fear clouds to evaporate and with it - you will shine.
"If we were all perfected beings, we wouldn't be here in the physical world." ~ George Harrison
