The time has come for a leader to step up, whether it be that you enlist the help of someone who has a clear vision and a drive for success or you muster that energy within yourself - the struggles of the past are over and a new energy of abundance and security is ready to emerge it just needs a strong guide.
The crows struggled against a strong headwind - each move forward took a great deal of energy and just as they would get ahead the wind would knock them back. This pattern continued until the birds discovered they could use the power of the wind and instead of fighting it - they allow it to carry them up into the tree where they found warmth and security.
The Five of Pentacles in the past position indicates that you have learned from the struggles of the past and have moved into a new place of understanding. By approaching an obstacle from a place of curiosity and as a lesson - you learned how to use adversity to your advantage in that it gave you an opportunity to see your situation from a different perspective. The energy this bird projects is that of being in control, of being quick-witted and unbiased. Although completely insensitive - he is known for taking a rational approach letting logic play a far more significant role in his decisions than that of emotion. Because of his nature, others seek him out as a source to resolve disputes as they know that his decision will be fair and impartial.
At the heart of today's reading is the Emperor and it is coming through as a reminder to see your situation for how it truly is in this moment - from a place of logic free from emotion. When you analyze your situation, without letting fear or uncertainty cloud your judgment you will be able to find clarity in your current situation.
If you find yourself getting tangled in thought-spirals that are fueled by strong emotions or aren't able to gain a clear perspective on your own - seek out someone who you can trust to help you parse out your situation so that you can see it for what it is - not what you fear it to be or what you want to hear. The person who enters as the Emperor will help you find a path to success, not simply offer their opinion - they will be there as a guide and leader.
The Crow sits on a pentacle in a garden that is filled with flowers. Here the bird is reminded of all the abundance the world has to offer and that any feelings of lack are the result of fear. From this perspective, the clouds part and the bird is able to see all the possibilities for new adventures.

The big message I am getting right now from this spread is to let go of that low vibrational energy that is associated with the Five of Pentacles - you made it through - it is over however if you continue to focus your attention or energy on worrying about going back to that place in time or reliving that situation - the universe will bring you what you focus on - what your clear vision is tuned into so it is important to turn your attention to the things in life you want to have happen not what you are afraid will happen.
