General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Friday September 14th

Crow Tarot Reading

Good Morning,

There is a strong pull towards going inward and checking with your intuition, listening to your spirit and stepping back from a situation that doesn't feel right at the moment. This weekend take some time to recenter and recalibrate your inner compass.

The crow finds itself in an unusual position - however, instead of struggling to right itself it leans into the situation, relaxes its wings and uses this unexpected interruption as a learning experience.

The Hanged Man comes through this morning as a result of your letting go of a situation you had no control over - you simply let the events play out, learning what you could from each moment without any expectations. This situation was what it was regardless of any input on your account and because of this, you benefited by being a bystander as you avoided some unnecessary drama.

The crow left the chitter chatter going on at the roost during the evening hours to find a quiet place where it could gather its thoughts and connect with its surroundings on a deeper level. Here the bird found clarity and a better understanding of what it wanted in life and where to find it.

At the center of today's reading is the Hermit and the energy supporting you at this time is one of going inward, of connecting with your higher self to find the answers you seek.

Combined with the Hanged Man the Hermit suggests that by removing yourself from a situation, by letting it go and letting fate handle the details - you will find that in this place of peace the solution for any current situation will be found.

This is a time to focus on you and your needs - what will bring you into a place of feeling whole or content? Is there someone you need to detach from because their behavior may be destructive not only to themselves but to your emotional well-being?

I once worked for a small software company where let's just say pretty much every single woman there had a #metoo story - alcohol flowed freely in the office as did lewd jokes and blatant misogyny. The more I got angry about the atmosphere the more my boss made my life miserable  - I was powerless to make the change I wanted to see at this job and as a single mom who needed to support my daughter I wasn't able to simply up and quit - when I realized that I was essentially "stuck" I let go of trying to control the situation and instead chose to go in to work every day do my job, not drink at the office, nor let my boss's sexist remarks get under my skin. - and collect my very nice paycheck.  With this attitude shift, I soon found I had more energy to focus on getting myself into a position where I could quit the job - as that was what I set my intention on every day. The reality was - this boss nor the company culture was going to change because of me - but I could get myself into a place where I could leave - and I very happily did.

Use this weekend if you can to reconnect with your spirit because with the High Priestess sitting off to the side - your intuition is running high.

The crow is perched on a crescent moon where she is able to see the world in its entirety. She feels deeply and moves through the air gracefully with a connection to the planet and all that occupy it - her energy and that of those below are one.

If you tune out the chatter of life and tune in to your intuition answers will come to you at this time as the High Priestess is present to help you find the solution to your current situation.

By letting go of the things in life that you have absolutely no control over and by finding a place of inner peace - you will open the door for the High Priestess to come through as she will offer you valuable information - listen to your gut it is here to help you stay on course and to move in the best direction possible.

"“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.”  ~Ann Landers
