General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Monday May 21st

Crow Tarot Reading
Good morning!
We start the week off on a tepid note. For those familiar with Morrisey, this spread for some reason evokes a similar melancholy feeling that his song  "Everyday is Like Sunday" creates. Looking at the cards - I was whisked back to being a teenager - stuck and bored living just south of Boston. "Every day is like Sunday - every day is silent and gray..."
The crow of the Two of Swords stays put - steady on the two swords. It could remove the blindfold and see where it is or it could take a chance and leap off the blades - however the crow is not motivated to do either and therefore stays where it is.
In the past position - the energy around the Two of Swords is stagnant and cold. This may be a result of love being withheld as a child or a lack of motivation to get out of a rut more recently. Although in the past - the feeling of detachment may be resurfacing today as the Two of Swords appears with a message that any lack of momentum or motion at this time is of your own doing. If you are feeling unmotivated or bored - you have the power to remove the blindfold.
Although the water is choppy and the journey will result in the Crow leaving something behind - it knows in order to find happiness and success, a fresh start is required.
At the present time the Six of Swords reveals a deep desire to move forward -however, there is something holding you back and keeping you stuck in the feelings brought on by the Two of Swords. Whether is it the security of a boring yet stable relationship or job - there is an element of fear at play here as you focus on the what will be lost versus what might be gained.
The High Priestess is a wise and intuitive bird. Her energy runs deep and can read those around her like a children's book. She enters our being as the friend who "knows" to call you the minute something major happens - without you saying a single word. It is this powerful creature that restores balance as she allows for an easy exchange of ideas and thoughts between intuition and logic.
In the future position, the High Priestess serves as a valuable ally during a time of uncertainty. Without consciously or openly expressing dissatisfaction with your current situation, you have been sending signals to the Universe that change would be welcomed - and as requested - the Six of Swords (the heart of the situation) appeared. The High Priestess will enable you to move around the conflict so that you can see the situation from all angles and adjust your strategy accordingly. It will be your ability to predict a future conflict that will enable you to prepare your reaction and because of this any friction created during this time will be diffused and as a result, you will be able to begin moving forward on your own terms.
"What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us." ~ Henry David Thoreau
