General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Monday September 17th

Crow Tarot Reading

Good morning!

The only thing that will prevent you from finding the outcome you desire - is you. Don't let your self-talk or negative habits be the bully that stops you from going after a dream.

The crow works tirelessly standing the wands up to create its own personal space - a place that will be home. Although the first set of wands went up without much struggle - the last one is proving more difficult, but nonetheless, the crow perseveres and continues to come up with creative solutions for its last challenge.

The Nine of Wands is coming through this morning as an acknowledgment of the work you have committed towards a situation. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and although there may have been struggles in the past, you are near the end. This card is coming through as a reminder of how far you have come and the time to quit is not now as you are close to completing the final task that will move you out of your current situation and into one that will build upon your success. Like that cat poster from the 80's every school guidance counselor had in their office - the message from the Nine of Wands today is Hang in There.

The crow rushes in - pushing out of its way anything and everything with utter disregard for the feelings of others. This bird has an idea of where it wants to go, want it wants to achieve, and who it wants to be - all it wants to do is charge forward and reach the end as quickly as possible.

At the center of today's reading is the enthusiastic almost to a fault Knight of Wands. There is a strong energy that is building around your current situation as you are reenergized and motivated to push forward thanks to a new creative idea.

The time to act on a creative idea is now - do not delay - it is time to take action. The energy that is building around you at this time will help you get into motion as you will feel excited to get to work! That being said - because this energy is very reactionary and thinks little of consequences - you will need to make a mental note to slow down and balance out the energy with some logical thinking. If you just steamroll ahead becoming overly absorbed in this new idea you risk burning yourself out before you reach the end.

The challenge for you will be to harness the swift forward moving energy the Knight of Wands brings without being over-powered by while at the same time being logical but not over-analytical to the point where you scare yourself from going after the idea.

The blindfolded crow is caught in a cage of swords. However, the cage is loose at best and if the bird would remove the blindfold it would see that it could easily free itself.

The Eight of Swords is coming up this morning because if there is any barrier created that will block your progress it is of your own creation - one that is the result of a misguided belief.

The creative project or idea that popped in your head - the one you were excited about is in jeopardy because of your own uncertainty or fear. If things are moving along swiftly and progress is being made thanks to the Knight of Wands - be cautious of your self-talk otherwise you may slip into the mindset that it's too good to be true or too good to last forever and with that, a sword goes up reaffirming this "negative" belief. If you second-guess your skills or ability to follow-through - more swords fall into place around you.  If despite having the desire to work on your idea - you instead look for excuses to not start or start but then become lured away by something less demanding or numbing such as watching tv - yet again more swords fall in around you.

The energy is building so that the progress you made in the past as indicated by the Nine of Wands isn't wasted - the Knight of Wands is present to help you make it over that last hurdle - stay focused on your goal and shift your talk away from anything that will keep you stuck in your current situation - the Eight of Swords are loose, they are not set in stone and because if this when you take the blindfold off and move forward with your idea - the swords will fall on the sand.

Peace!
