Good morning!
The energy that has been building for the last few days has been one of positive action and opportunities - yet today we hit a bit of a roadblock. If there is any benefit - it will be that this experience will lead to your discovering what works in your life and what doesn't.
The Queen of Cups sits on her adorned throne. She is a wise, emotionally intelligent, and intuitive mother figure whose love runs deep. Without a single call for help, she knows if her fledging is in need of support and is there are the ready to ensure that all is good around her as her compassion is unconditional.
The foundation for who you are today lies in the influence of the Queen of Cups. This person came into your life during a time when you needed to feel emotionally supported. This strong feminine energy entered your life as if on call and helped you get through a difficult period or situation. This influence in your life guided you and although the connection may not be as direct - where you are today is connected in that her input influenced your decisions during this time.
The Queen of Cups may have been a relative who came to your aide during a difficult period in your childhood - whose compassion and unconditional love left an impression on who you are and how you view the world. This person may have been a boss or mentor who saw the potential in you when no one else did - and because of this, she helped you advance your career and helped you create a better future.
It is the Queen of Cups that is responsible for establishing a sense of inner-compassion - something that has helped you stay optimistic even during difficult times.
The crow diligently works on the final task - it has been a long slog and the latest struggle has the poor stressed-out bird questioning whether or not the effort is worth the reward. However, this creative creature is not one to give up easily and with a short break to reassess the situation - it searches for solutions that will help it rediscover the fire within that initially ignited the passion for the task.
At the center of today's reading is the Nine of Wands. There is friction building as a project you are working on hits a bit of snag. What you probably don't realize is that the task you are taking on is rather monumental and the amount of effort you have put in so far is more than what most would be able to endure - however it is your commitment to the project or task that has you going the extra mile - giving you more strength than what may seem possible.
With the Queen of Cups as the foundation - you may be experiencing a strong feeling of compassion around this project as it may be that you are working on something that will benefit not only yourself but others as well - and it is this desire to give back that is driving you and giving you strength to go the extra mile. Let your intuition guide you as it will help you find the path of least resistance.
The crow sits on a branch - staring out into the sky. It has gathered three cups and although initially it was intrigued by the shiny objects they no longer hold its interest. Because the crow became easily bored by the cups below, when a new one presents itself to it - the crow pays it no attention as it already knows that cup holds nothing of value.
The Four of Cups comes through this morning as an indication that you will be presented with an option that in your gut you will know is not the best solution. Because of your past experiences, you have a good sense of what has worked in the past and what hasn't - and because your time and resources are valuable you know where to direct your attention and what not to waste your time on.
The message I am getting this morning is to let your intuition guide you as this final task is testing your resolve. You have achieved a sense of knowing what works and what doesn't - what is healthy and what isn't - and because of this, each decision you make going forward will take you one step closer to finding a successful end to your project.
"Creativity itself doesn't care at all about results - the only thing it craves is the process. Learn to love the process and let whatever happens next happen, without fussing too much about it. Work like a monk, or a mule, or some other representative metaphor for diligence. Love the work. Destiny will do what it wants with you, regardless." ~Elizabeth Gilbert
