We enter this weekend with a clear understanding of what needs to be done and although it may be difficult, or maybe uncomfortable - doing so will lead to joining others in celebration.
The crow bullishly stands there - it took what it wanted with little regard to whether or not it was his, to begin with. Although he may have more material possessions ( and oh don't we know it!) what is missing as a result of his attitude is friendship. Some of the crows play dead when they see him fly in - others fly off to avoid this garish bird.
The Five of Swords comes through to signify a time in your life where you recognized that someone or some situation was toxic and wasn't offering you anything positive - if anything it was depleting your energy. Perhaps the Five of Swords represents a bad relationship that you were able to get clear on and see it as it truly was so that you could "fly away." Maybe you mastered the art of "playing dead" when you had a boss that made your skill crawl every time he came into your space to avoid being affected by his bullying behavior.
This time period may not seem so important to where you are today - but it is, because, it taught you how to defend yourself from energy vampires that disguise themselves as bullies, abusive partners, and anyone who feels so bad about themselves that they need to bring others down too. It takes skill and strength to recognize when it is time to walk away - it is a lesson that can not be learned any other way except through experience.
The regal crow sits on his throne. There is a crispness in the air giving the bird a clear vision of the land. Above the crow is the symbol of Saturn - this lets the other birds know that he is the elder, the father, and the authority - it is his word that will serve as a guide for those who follow.
At the heart of today's reading is the King of Swords - this bird will support you in getting clear so that you can articulate your position with an authoritative voice. The King may enter your life as a lawyer who will provide you with the information you need so that you will win your case or a teacher who will help you parse out your thoughts so that your paper is spotless and convincing. The energy of the King may enter you - giving you the courage and authoritative voice in order to stand up and speak out about an injustice - lord knows there are quite a few these days.
I know that there are quite a few of you who are working on books right now - this is a great time to channel the King's energy as it will help you effortlessly get out of your head what may be been feeling jumbled lately. This is a time to share your knowledge with others and to get the words out! :-)
The three crows gather in the garden. Here there is plenty of food and drink to be had as they joyously spend their time celebrating.
Supporting your goal the Three of Cups arrives to assure you that when you take the steps to finish your goal - it will be worth celebrating. It won't just pass undetected - no your tribe will gather and you will be the guest of honor.
“Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world...would do this, it would change the earth.” ~ William Faulker
Amen to that William - Amen to that!
