General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Saturday May 5th

crow tarot reading

Good morning!

One of the first things I notice, before thinking about which cards are in front of me is the color palette - how the cards interact visually. Some readings all three cards are very dark, such as Thursday's reading - today's, however, is vibrant and colorful and because of this, the first thing that came to my mind was an overwhelming feeling of hope.

You will find in this deck, color matters - it sets the mood and even before you get into the exact meaning behind the card - you will feel it.

The crow found himself unable to solve a problem and decided to see it from a different angle. The blossoming branch signifies fresh new ideas that bloom at the right time and the red poppies below represent finding peace in letting go.

The Hanged Man in the past position indicates that your present situation is a result of letting go of something or a situation that was no longer serving you. Perhaps instead of digging in during an argument - you simply let it go - or if you were competing for a position, instead of taking a competitive approach you took your name out of the hat.

During this time you were able to see the situation for what it really was and because of this, you found it easy to process any emotions around the event.

The crow of Judgment calls out to those who are ready to face their past to rise up and embrace their history - to tell their story. It is from this place that they will find absolution.

At the heart of the matter is Judgment and this indicates that because of your action in the past as the Hang Man (or inaction as the case may be) you are now faced with a very significant and life-changing decision. The energy around the Judgment card is that of rebirth and discovering your purpose. Although this decision may not seem like a big deal to others - you have an inner-knowing that the choice you make during this time will put into motion a series of events that will become transformative. You will feel in complete control of your destiny.

The crow stands on the lion's snout with complete assurance that it will not be eaten. It does so not in dominance, but because the lion and the crow have created mutual respect and it is with this power to connect on a deeper level that world offers infinite possibilities.

The Strength card in the future position brings with it a sense of peace as any inner struggles will be cleared. Any wild or stray emotions will be tamed as you will have a firm understanding of who you are and what you are capable of achieving. The progress that was initiated during the time of the Hanged Man followed by the decision created by Judgement will lead you to a place of complete control over your life - you will have the strength to take this positive energy and direct it into a direction that will give you a complete sense of freedom.
