Caw Caw!

The birds are especially noisy this morning here in my little Seattle neighborhood. I know that there are a few young ones around testing out their wings and learning to fly.

This morning we have quite a bit of stuff bubbling up - bringing an energy that supports change and growth - sometimes, however, it requires us to acknowledge that when we change ourselves for the better, not everyone is on board to do the same.

The crow wakes up from yet another nightmare of being trapped in a cage unable to spread its wings and because of this, it is unable to rest. The poor bird's anxiety is not a result of a past experience, no this creature has only experienced freedom, however, it is because of the bird's attachment to staying free that the worst possible scenario it could ever face is that of being caged and as a result the crow risks manifesting its fear if it requires medical care due to too many sleepless nights.

In the past position, the Nine of Swords indicates that there is some anxiety that is getting in the way or causing your current situation some friction. Although not in the present moment, there may have been something in your past that is triggering feelings of fear to surface today. Perhaps someone planted a seed as a result of their past experience and because we are creative creatures a story was constructed to fit your situation. For example, if you are about to commit to a relationship - you may be feeling worried that it will lead to a life of boredom or endless bickering because that is what you witnessed in the past.

The energy that is caused by the Nine of Swords may also stem from holding onto the ideal version of your situation so tightly that any deviation from the course will have you constructing nightmare scenarios - catastrophizing the situation to the point where you create undue worry and anxiety.

The message from the Nine of Swords here is to take control of the reality so that you write your story - not your anxiety.

The crow sits on a blossoming branch in the middle of a beautiful garden. It is here that it constructs a perfect pentacle with its mind and in doing so is now able to attract its treasure. This clever young bird sees the world through a lens of opportunity and fresh beginnings and because of this it sends out a high vibrational energy one that makes manifesting desires seem effortless.

The energy at the heart of today's reading is the Page of Pentacles bringing a young childlike wonder and the ability to see the many opportunities the world offers. If you have been feeling stuck or pulled down by an obstacle - the energy supporting you at this time is one of cleverness as creative thinking and because of this - not only will any current problems be resolved you will discover new paths to explore. There is a light-heartedness in the air surrounding you during this time and as a result, you will have the ability to take on any new challenges in a more playful manner with no stress or anxiety to manipulate the situation.

This is a time to get clear on what you desire in your life today - as you will have the ability to attract the desired situation into your life. The energy that the Page of Pentacles brings today will also help you resolve any anxiety that may be resurfacing from the past as you will now be able to see the situation from a different perspective - one that isn't bogged down by worry but instead with "go with the flow" kind of attitude.

The Page brings fresh starts and new beginnings, those that move you forward. This is a great time to connect with that inner-child who once saw the world as a place of endless possibilities.

The crow sits on a sword as it feels the pain of a severed heart. Although in the past they were connected - today its partner desires nothing more than to be free.

The Three of Swords indicates that a separation is approaching. This will be a momentarily painful time, however, it will be one that is a result of your moving forward and manifesting your dreams - and what may bring you happiness may not be the same for someone else, especially if they are unwilling to grow or let the relationship evolve.

The Three of Swords may also point to a situation, one that as a result of your growth you are forced to leave behind something that is holding back your progress. It may be painful while going through it - with time you will discover that it was necessary.

Letting go of something or someone we are attached to is always painful on some level - even if we know deep down that it is the right thing. Being dumped by some loser - still has a bit of a sting to it despite the fact, in the end, it is for the best.

The Page of Pentacles is about manifesting the life you want, letting go of any past worry or anxiety so that you can move forward in creating a better future and because of this the Three of Swords reveals that you may need to say goodbye to something or someone for a new beginning to emerge. It may sting while its happening but you will feel better in the end as a result of it.
