General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Sunday September 9th
It's time to take a short break from a project or situation that isn't coming together as easily as it once had - take some downtime to clear your head and gain your strength because help will arrive and the problem will be solved when the timing is most beneficial.
The crow diligently works at positioning the wands just right - and up until the last one things went along easily. The last wand is proving to be much more difficult and the crow is questioning whether or not it can finish the task. But with the sun coming out through the clouds - there is hope and the bird moves towards a more optimistic outlook.
With the Nine of Wands setting up this reading, this indicates that a project or a situation that you have been struggling with for some time is coming to an end - there is still a little work to be done, however with determination you will find success and with it you will set yourself up for a new beginning. Perhaps you are in your final year of school and the workload is more intense than the years before or you recently were promoted and face bigger challenges than in the past. This may point to a period of life where you faced obstacle after obstacle and just as you can see an end or a fresh start emerging you are facing one more hurdle to clear.
The Nine of Wands comes through today as a signal of hope and an acknowledgment of how far you have come - look back at all you have accomplished because in doing so you will discover you are stronger than you give yourself credit for.
The crow is not dead - although it is at peace, resting. This bird has taken on a big task and with the majority of the work done it knows to stay on track and to be able to see the situation from a clear perspective, it needs to step away from the action for a just a short time.
At the heart of today's reading is the Four of Swords and with it comes permission to take a break - go for a walk alone - do nothing for an hour but lay on the couch and read - put the kids in front of a movie and soak in a long bath with the door locked. You have worked hard and before frustration, overwhelm, stress, mental and or physical exhaustion take over because you are determined to complete a task - stop - and take just a short time to regroup your emotions and your actions. The situation you are in isn't going to resolve itself or go away because you stepped away - it will still be there when you return - however it will turn out better because of this break as you will come back to it with more energy and a clearer mind.
With the Nine if Wands and Four of Swords coming together to create your current situation - the message is pretty clear - you have been working hard now take some time for yourself, just for a little while - the world isn't going to come crashing down because you took a couple of hours to enjoy life - if anything it will prove to be a beneficial decision.
The young bird stares intently creating a vision of a pentacle in its mind and in doing so attracts a pentacle to the garden.
The Page of Pentacles comes in as a reminder that you have the power to create that which you want by focusing your attention on the thing you desire. The Page may appear in the form of help from someone who has the financial means to move your project along or it may be that you will be successful in manifesting the money you need to help your current situation.
The message today is to not give up - but recognize when you are feeling overwhelmed as that is not the time to try and create or move a project forward as your energy is low-vibrational. By getting some rest and doing something that brings you joy - you will move into a higher-vibrational state and that is where the magic happens - that is when your power to manifest is at its strongest.
"It's very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing. Not only does it help prevent the onset of many illnesses that develop through chronic tension and worrying; it allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems." ~Thich Nhat Hanh
