Good morning!
You have something worth fighting for - and although it may be challenging at times and someone may have caused you a bit of a setback - a creative approach and a little bit of patience will be all you need to reach your goal.
The trickster crow flew in and executed a plan for stealing the swords. It's plan, however, was not perfect and the clean getaway was a bit messy as it didn't get all that it had planned and it left evidence of its betrayal.
One scenario: The Seven of Swords marks a turning point in your life when the sting of losing something to another moved you into action. Whether justified or not, in your mind it felt like a betrayal. Perhaps you lost a promotion to a colleague who knows all the right buttons to push with the boss. This may denote a time when a friend asked out the love interest you have been swooning over before you even had a chance. Perhaps you found the perfect space for your yoga studio and your biggest competitor swooped on it and signed the lease - leaving you looking for a backup.
Second scenario: The Seven of Swords points to you being the one who saw an opportunity and swooped in and took it - with or without knowing that it would be perceived as a betrayal. Maybe you were more assertive in going after a promotion because you knew you had the skills for success that others on your team lacked. In regards to a love interest, perhaps it was nature that took its course and brought the two of you together - however, the sting your friend felt was still very real. Maybe your new yoga space has some hard feelings attached to it because you won the lease and as a result, sparked a competitive rivalry.
Whatever the event a desire to prove yourself created a fire within you.
The crow stands strong and proud on top of the mountain - a place it worked hard to achieve. However, despite being securely on top it can't help but feel a need to justify its position - taking on a combative approach to all who come near.
At the heart of today's reading is the Seven of Wands. There is a fire burning within you one that has you feeling as though you need to defend your position and because of this you are driven to work harder to prove that you are in your rightful spot. You may have been feeling like critics, competitors, and obstacles have been coming at you from all directions and because of this, you may be a bit on edge these days as a heightened sense of alertedness has you looking for any opportunity to defend your position.
The message the Seven of Wands brings this morning is that you are in your rightful place - don't let fear of losing it shake you from this position.
The young, enthusiastic crow who is always looking for some new information that will amuse and delight leans over the rim of the cup and listens to the fish. The fish has a way of communicating with the bird through story and although the tale it spins is long and winding - the bird senses its meaning and following its gut - heeds the lesson of the fish.
The Page of Cups comes through today as a reminder that sometimes we need to find answers in less conventional places. There is youthful energy with this card and perhaps it is time to stop fighting so hard and take some time to relax and have some fun so that you can connect with your intuition - add a little water to that fire to create steam - a great source of power and will have you moving forward quickly.
There is an enthusiastic energy that comes with the Page of Cups and it will have you feeling inspired! In the future position, however, this indicates that you may need to find a balance between patience and action as things will need to unfold at their own pace and if rushed - the growth may be stinted. Listen to your gut - and go with the flow!
"If we listened to our intellect, we'd never have a love affair. We'd never have a friendship. We'd never go into business because we'd be cynical. Well, that's nonsense. You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down." ~ Ray Bradbury
Peace!
