Good Morning!
Before I get started - I just want to share that one of my little crows has become the "brave" one and now knocks on my glass door to let me know that they are waiting for food. I just love them!
The ending of a relationship often leads to some form of pain as a result of the separation - even those that are toxic or unhealthy. Whether it's the belief that being alone is somehow far worse than being in a bad relationship or that financially it is impossible to leave because paying the bills is so much more comfortable with two incomes - it's incredible what we can put up with to stay in that "comfort zone." The message today is to use your creativity and your strength - make an exit strategy and take action because when you do, you will open up a whole new world of possibilities.
The charismatic crow is in charge - he has earned his regal position of King as a result of his reputation for getting the job done with a sense of flare and executing each move with decisive action. When this bird is handed an idea it doesn't just ensure it is done - it is done far better than what the original creator of the concept could have envisioned.
With the foundation for today's reading being the King of Wands - you are where you are today because you could see the potential for something as being much higher than initially perceived. The framework for the concept was there; however it was your unique vision that would transform the idea into something far beyond what was expected.
Maybe you were the person who was able to solve a problem at work that had others struggling, or perhaps you ran with the idea that others only dreamed about and as a result, your action at that moment opened up doors that may have otherwise remained closed.
With the King of Wands supporting you there is strong out-going - take charge kind of energy running through your present position. When you use your creativity and confidence, you find that where others may offer stale solutions, you will be able to articulate a new vision - something that will be unexpected and welcomed as it will prove successful. Your reputation will benefit as a result of channeling the King of Wands and new opportunities for advancement will come into view.
The pain caused by the sharp cold blades of the three swords that impaled the once shared heart was unbearable, and although one of the birds refused to leave preferring to remain in misery, the other knew that in order find healing it would need to fly away.
At the center of today's reading is the Three of Swords. A separation is needed, and it will feel uncomfortable - painful at times and yet it will prove vital as this experience will be the action that is required for you to move into a position that honors your true self.
I have been thinking a lot about this reading - which is part of the reason why it's a bit late today - that and that my crows keep knocking...
The Three of Swords may indicate it is a co-dependent relationship that is standing in the way or blocking the energy of the King of Wands (your purpose.) It may not necessarily mean a romantic partner, but instead, it may be the group "friends" who feed your need to be social however instead of supporting your goals, they have you up into the wee hours drinking every night - taking you away from your studies. The separation may be from an overbearing parent you worry about disappointing or someone who has relied your on strength for too long and is taking advantage of your need to please others and as a result, is holding you back.
That moment created by the King of Wands - when you saw your potential and realized that you have something unique to offer sparked a feeling of empowerment. You received an incredible gift - the glimpse of your real potential and what your future could be like if you allowed yourself to feel confident and capable of taking charge of your life. As a result - it also shed light on relationships that are not in line with this vision and because of this there may be some friction in regards to communication.
The Crow rises up into the air with the swift, sharp sword leading the way as it cuts through the clouds allowing the bird to see a path through a crystal clear sky. The energy caused by the crow's actions created a sonic boom that shattered the mountain range that once was an obstacle.
The Ace of Swords comes through this morning to support your decision to break free - giving you some much-needed clarity. You will be able to see your situation without blinders, and understand the real impact that the words and actions of others have on your life - because of this you will be able to swiftly determine who is there to help you grow and who is there that needs for you to stay in place - with them out of fear.
