General Three Card Crow Tarot Reading - Wednesday October 31st

Happy Halloween!! 

I hope everyone has a wonderful day celebrating with friends and feasting! My daughter is Maleficent this year - very random being it has been a couple years since the movie came out - BUT I was thrilled as Maleficent is one of my favorites - now if only I could train one of our crows to stay on her shoulder! 

There is a great deal of power coming from the cards this morning - one of creating something big - the only problem is that cage that is holding back the magic. 

The strong motherly bird flies over a land she feels deeply connected with and with a flick of a wing, a tilt of the beak she creates an abundance of life below. 

The foundation for your current situation was created by your inner Empress. During this time you were grounded and walked with a connection to the planet and those around you - the energy surrounding this time in your life was robust and life-giving.  You had the power to bring something beautiful into your world whether it be love, the feeling of complete and total ease with life, or maybe material possessions that brought you comfort, whatever you created it was with a pure heart and a desire to add more positivity into your world.

The darkness demands the bird's attention - it numbs the other senses so that all the crow can focus on is the fact it can't see - it is here with this power that the darkness constructs a fantasy that plays upon the bird's worst fears - being caged.  If the crow allowed its mind to be free and explore - if it was able to focus less on what it can't see and more on what it can feel,  the lightness of the blindfold would be obvious and it would know that a simple shake of the feathers would remove the darkness and the cage.

The Eight of Swords comes through this morning to ask - are you getting in your own way? Are you focusing your attention on one part of your life and not seeing it as a whole? Is there something you are missing because you are letting the fear of the unknown hold you back? 

With the Empress setting up the foundation for the Eight of Swords - you may be feeling a creative block as a result of worrying about another part of your life. I know this one first hand - the fastest way to fall hard into a creative slump is to worry about financial obligations - as soon as your creativity becomes your sole source of income something shifts - it puts a lot of pressure on your creative self and although the last thing you need at that moment is creative block - that is exactly what manifests.

The crow, no longer content with an idea lying dormant rises up into the air - pulling together all of the elements and extends its beak through the clouds where it connects with a bolt of lightning - bringing the idea to life. 

The Magician comes through this morning bringing the message - when you take action you will create an energy - one that has a ripple effect and will spark new opportunities that will support you in manifesting what you desire.

You have the power - you have all the ingredients you need to create a new beginning. What was once an idea floating in your head has the potential to become real and if you act on it,  you will find a path to success. 

When you take the time to ground yourself and focus your energy on bringing love and compassion to your situation - when you reconnect with your inner Empress and pull forward the power of the Magician the blindfold will fall and you will have the ability to face any obstacles - real or imaginary. It will be from this place that you will then be able to create something extraordinary and life-changing.
